Connect44 is seeking a Delivery Manager Voice Core to join our team in Bucharest on a permanent basis. This role involves responsibility for scheduling of change events in collaboration with Project Manager and other stakeholders within the project team.

Main activities and tasks : 

The role reports to the PMO Programme Manager and matrixes with Project or Functional Managers within both teams. The primary responsibility is the successful delivery of assigned elements within Networks Operations Projects, with the goal of delivering successful change events.

The role holder is expected to build relationships with key stakeholders, plan, and execute effective changes, ensuring no unplanned impact on TUK customers.

Key responsibilities include employing measures and promoting behaviours that support reduced costs, improved investment efficiency, and faster time to market. The role will also require effective use of UK tools, such as Remedy, to plan and deliver successful change events.

Additionally, the Delivery Manager may be called upon to lead small pieces of work independently, without direct oversight from a Project Manager.

 

Required Education & Trainings:

  • Responsible for scheduling change events in collaboration with the Project Manager and other stakeholders within the project team.
  • Compile accurate CRQs within the Remedy Tool, ensuring alignment with TUK change process adherence.
  • Compile accurate Implementation Plans, ensuring alignment with TUK change process adherence.
  • Ensure that the appropriate resources are allocated to the change events, working with vendors, suppliers, and TUK functional areas.
  • Operate effective quality management and configuration control.
  • Effectively manage and control change, ensuring all necessary updates are carried out during and after the event to deliver good change process adherence.
  • Maintain and comply with performance measures for delivery and efficiency.
  • Provide clear and effective communication to all stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholders, including Telefonica internal groups and external suppliers.
  • Employ effective leadership during change events.
  • Establish, maintain, and publish a tracker for each project or work assignment.
  • Conduct impact and risk assessments and collision management for network changes.
  • Monitor and manage raised Remedy incident cases.
  • Ensure appropriate escalation of issues or incidents, following the Implementation Plan

Specific skills & technical knowledge:

  • Experience managing complex change events within a live mobile network.
  • Strong technical background in the Telecommunication/IT industry.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, projecting competence and credibility. Ability to work within a very diverse delivery team.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills in English, including understanding of technical terms and phrases.
  • Experience of working in an environment of change involving new systems, new processes, and cultural change.
  • Driven and focused, insisting on high levels of performance and not resigning to the inevitability of delays.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and adopt innovative delivery mechanisms.
  • Proven track record of delivery and achieving results through people in a matrix delivery team.
  • Structured and methodical, with a detail-conscious approach to planning.
